Well it's been an awesome year with CC. Rita & I took a step
towards a retirement adventure. We bought CC, a 43 foot Class A motor coach in April and started really
using her the first weekend in May.
Since then we have logged 6,783 miles. Camped a total of 82 nights.
We've had all the kids & grandkids, plus the Watson's spend some
time with us.
We've camped with my sister & brother-in-law (Peg & Dennis)
and their kids a number of times. We've gone just us and made new
friends every time. We've golfed, biked, hiked, fished, played washers,
bocci ball, Geo Cached, we chilled, trick or treated and
even hosted golfers during a tournament weekend.
We've been on a two week trip to Williamsburg, DC, &
Gettysburg. Camped at Carlyle Lake Dam West (a bunch of times) Carlyle
Lake Coles Creek (a bunch of times) Whittington Woods @ Rend Lake,
Cottonwoods @ Columbia, MO, Cedarbrook Woods @ Mulberrygrove,
IL, Johnston Shut-ins, Onondaga, Meramec, Cuivre River State Parks in
MO, South Sandusky @ Rend Lake. A Flying J, and Buccaneer State Park in
MS.
CC has been in these states:
Not bad for a first year. Now CC is all winterized and covered for the winter:
Only thing RV related we're doing now is planning next years trips.
Have sites reserved for Mothers Day at Dam West, Easter in Arkansas, & 2 weeks @ Yellowstone. Plus more in the works.....
Next thing on the calendar is St. Louis RV show in January. There's always something you can buy for an RV........
